munich business launches new Spaces4Scaleups website

The new online portal of munich business’ Spaces4Scaleups project is online! With this new, modern and target group-oriented web platform, our network partners and the curated space offers are presented more attractively and made more accessible for growing startups/scaleups. The website was implemented in close cooperation with Shareyourspace and with the support of the network partners from the real estate industry – led by Accumulata.

The search for space in Munich is problematic for fast-growing start-ups (“scale-ups”): the private office space market offers hardly any affordable and attractive space of 100 square meters or more that is small-scale, expandable and can also be rented at short notice.

The search for space in Munich is problematic for fast-growing start-ups (“scale-ups”): the private office space market offers hardly any affordable and attractive space of 100 square meters or more that is small-scale, expandable and can also be rented at short notice.

The “Spaces for Scaleups” network of private space providers curated by Munich Business was launched in 2021 to provide more offers for scaleups with space requirements of more than 100 square meters. The aim is to make the transition from “Phase 2” to “Phase 3” of the startup life cycle as seamless as possible for the young companies. Shortened search processes and direct brokerage save startups valuable time and costs, while facilitating the often necessary move to larger spaces.

Through negotiations with existing tenants, developers, investors, coworking providers and other service providers, more than 10 network partners have been acquired so far, who are currently feeding around 15 needs-based space offers into the “Spaces for Scaleups” portfolio.
